Who are we? Hi! We are a well educated professional couple (one is a lawyer with double degrees from Melbourne Uni and the other one with Masters of Education in I.T. & Early Childhood. We have a beautiful little boy, a baby girl and no pets, no smoking. Our interests include travelling, cooking, movies, music(writing and playing our own music!), sports (racing motorbikes).
Experience?We have had great times hosting international students for the last 8 years. Plus, the homestay mother was working as educational consultant for more than 9 years to help international student's school placement and visa issues. Hence, we always provide extra assistance to our homestay students. Both of us really enjoy helping international students practice and improve their English skills. We also love to host family with young kids too!
Location?Located in Camberwell (one of the best suburbs in Melbourne, Zone 1), our home is only a 1-minute walk to the Riversdale train station, and a 2-minute walk to the bus and tram stops. It only takes 16~19 minutes to get to the city centre by train or car. You can walk to a cool shopping street, supermarkets, many nice cafes, parks and cinemas nearby.
The house?The house is newly renovated, very attractive, clean and our family creates an excellent fun atmosphere with enough privacy for you to study in your own time and space. We provide 3 fresh, international meals everyday and we often bake cakes for afternoon tea or desserts too! We provide heating, DVD, washing machine, fully furnished, lovely cottage garden with BBQ, carparking and much more!

Single bedroom: AUD$295/week
Double bedroom(sole use) : AUD$320/week
Twin share: AUD$265/week/person
Under 18 years old: (with 3 meals/day)Single bedroom: AUD$320/week

Internet?High speed wireless Internet access (AUD$10/week) or you can have your own connection.
Other services?- Airport pick up service is $160/person/one way (please contact us for group quote)
- Weekend activities (e.g. wine testing...etc.) $80/person (includes tea/coffee on the trip, small snack, basic medication, tour guide, paper information,...etc.) DO NOT include drinks/food in the cafe, meals or other personal expense).
- English + cooking tutorial $80 /lesson (around 2 hours)- hands on experience and enjoy the yummy food after the lesson!!- All the materials are included- available at any time (booking is required)
- We can also help you to find other homestay to suit your needs. Homestay placement fee is $200/person.
How to book?
The deposit is AUD$100 (deduct from the first homestay payment, NO refundable!). Once we received, we will send you an email to confirm the amount and the date we received and also keep the room for you. pls contact us for the bank details.
